Youth Officer Consultant

The consultant should have an advanced university degree (Masters’ degree or equivalent) in communications, political science, environmental management or a related field.

A Bachelor’s university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management, administration or related area is required Project design: A strong track record of designing projects that secure buy-in and generate results and ability to deliver highly complex projects of a global nature efficiently and effectively is required Communications:

Ability to bring a diverse group of individuals and partners together to agree a collective programme of work as well as able to write high-quality reports and proposals as required is required.

Education & Youth: Experience of working with youth and youth organizations with insight as to how to work with such institutions around the tasks described in the job Innovation: Ability to think creatively about how to evolve pre-existing programmes to have maximum impact (desirable)
