  • Qualification in Accounting or minimum of two years’ previous accounting experience.
  • Experienced popular and current accounting software/applications (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage) user.
  • Experienced Microsoft Office user, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to administer both internal and external correspondence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to always work accurately with excellent attention to detail.
  • Great at staying calm and diplomatic under intense pressure.
  • Able to manage time, prioritize work to ensure deadlines are met and targets achieved, and take personal responsibility for own work & actions.
  • Able to work within a secure and confidential environment, maintain confidentiality, and always demonstrate tact and diplomacy.

  • To ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting in financial reporting.
  • To work closely with the finance team and various stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Principal Duties and Duties

  • Record financial transactions accurately and timely using accounting software or spreadsheets. This includes processing invoices, payments, receipts, and other related transactions.
  • Stay updated on financial regulations, accounting principles, and company policies. Adhere to internal controls and contribute to the implementation of best practices in financial management.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and support as required.
  • Prepare and updating accounting data or other financial reports required to provide accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards of the company’s earnings, sales, loans, and debts, and all other financial matters.
  • Keeping the fixed assets register, computing monthly depreciation and recording fixed assets disposals, as appropriate.
  • Survey the business's operations to ascertain accounting needs and recommend solutions, suppliers, and other third parties as required.
  • Maintain annual company budgets and preparing required reports to compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
  • Responsible for using and maintaining the filing system of the company at all times and in line with existing policies.
  • Undertaking any necessary duties to ensure a first-class service is provided always.
  • Being an ambassador for the business always.
