About the Role

Location & Work Model Disclaimer:

This is a primarily remote role, candidates, however, must be willing to spend multiple extended periods on the ground each year working closely with local teams, partners, and leadership, as in-market presence is critical to execution and context.

• Build and maintain models for credit risk, fraud detection, user behavior, and portfolio performance
  
• Partner with Product, Finance, and Engineering to embed data into decision-making
  
• Define and track core business, risk, and growth metrics
  
• Design experiments and analyses to improve unit economics and customer outcomes
  
• Ensure data quality, governance, and scalable analytics infrastructure
  
• Mentor junior analysts and help establish data best practices
  

Required Experience & Profile

• 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or applied machine learning
  
• Strong background in fintech, lending, payments, or financial risk modeling preferred
  
• Experience working with large datasets and production-level data pipelines
  
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  
• Experience supporting scale-phase decision-making in high-growth environments
