  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Shipping, Engineering, Economics, or a related field is required. An advanced degree (MBA or relevant master's degree) is an advantage.
  • 10 – 12 years cognate experience, 5 of which must have been in a management position in oil and gas or a similar organization.
  • Evidence of industry/sector participation
  • The ideal candidate for this position must be analytical, well organized, and possess excellent communication skills. They should be comfortable with managing paperwork and utilizing information systems. A strong understanding of shipping and receiving procedures is also crucial.
Responsibilities

  • Analyses production reports and weekly production plan, raising issues that would impact the achievement of the organization’s production figures.
  • Recommends and assists in implementing operating procedures and promotes continual improvement within the department and the company.
  • Manages and ensures all commercial issues are captured in Sales and Purchase agreements - Crude Oil Handling Agreement (CHA), Crude Oil Transportation Agreement (CTA), Crude Swap Contract (SWC) and Gas Sales Aggregation Agreement (GSAA)
  • Build relationships with existing and new off takers, terminal operators, cluster members, identifying their current and future needs.
  • Coordinate crude oil export monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation meetings with NNPC, DPR, others.
