Responsibilities
- Interested candidates should possess an SSCE / OND qualification with 2 - 3 years work experience.
- Experience: 2-3 years.
- Assist the different station chefs in the kitchen, help prepare ingredients and perform other kitchen tasks
- Assist other kitchen staff as needed
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to specification, served at the correct quality, portion size, and temperature
- Assist in overseeing and directing all aspects of the operation of the kitchen
- Assist in food preparation, storing, and service delivery to customers
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times
- Ensure proper preparation of all food to be served
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as listening skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Previous experience in a similar or related position is usually required
