Description

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent recruitment and talent management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Work closely with department heads to understand hiring needs and workforce planning.
  • Coordinate job postings, interviews, and candidate assessments.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee-related matters and conflict resolution.
  • Foster a positive and professional work environment.
  • Handle disciplinary procedures, grievances, and employee welfare issues.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies.
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies.
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Oversee attendance management, leave administration, and staff records.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare HR reports, staff data, and workforce analytics for management review.
  • Coordinate performance appraisal processes and employee evaluations.
  • Identify training needs and organise learning and development programs.
  • Support managers in setting KPIs and performance improvement plans.
  • Drive employee growth, career development, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Assist in salary structuring, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
  • Conduct market salary reviews and compensation benchmarking where necessary.
  • Ensure timely processing of employee benefits and entitlements.
  • Ensure the organization complies with all employment regulations and HR best practices.
  • Support organizational restructuring and change management initiatives.
  • Contribute to company culture development and internal communication strategies.
  • Monitor HR trends and recommend improvements to policies and processes.
