Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and performance improvement plans.
  • Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Advise managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Monitor employee engagement and recommend initiatives to improve workplace culture and productivity.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports to support management decision-making.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Collaborate with payroll and compensation teams on employee-related matters.
  • Support change management initiatives and organizational restructuring where required.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Participate in policy development and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 4–6 years' experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role.
  • Certifications: Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, HRCI, or equivalent) is an added advantage.

Technical & Legal Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law and HR best practices.
  • Experience in employee relations, performance management, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience using HRIS systems is an added advantage.
