What Level of Autonomy Does The Role Offer?

The HRBP position offers a high degree of autonomy, balanced with strong alignment to the CHRO's strategic direction. Specifically, the role provides:

  • Ownership of key HR workstreams, including performance management, employee relations, HR operations, and talent development.
  • Authority to recommend and implement HR improvements, policies, and process enhancements.
  • Independence in managing day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring smooth service delivery across the organization.
  • Freedom to advise and shape decisions that impact people and culture.
  • Responsibility for driving HR initiatives end‑to‑end, from planning to execution and reporting.
  • Direct access to the CHRO, enabling quick decision‑making and strategic alignment.
  • Flexibility to innovate, introduce new HR practices, and champion change where needed.
  • While the HRBP works closely with the CHRO, they are expected to operate as a self‑starter, a trusted advisor, and a strategic partner who can independently lead HR initiatives that support the company's goals.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 6 years HR experience, with at least 3 years in a business partnering or managerial HR role.
  • Experience in the insurance, broader financial services sector, or structured corporate environments is highly desirable.
