Requirements
Minimum of OND in relevant discipline
Minimum of 2years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting control systems and DCS
Responsibilities
- Monitor terminal processes using control systems, distributed control systems (DCS), and other relevant technologies.
- Take timely corrective actions to maintain optimal operating conditions and respond to deviations from standard parameters.
- Respond to alarms promptly, diagnose issues, and implement corrective measures to prevent disruptions to operations.
- Collaborate with maintenance and other teams to troubleshoot and resolve identified operational issues.
- Adhere to and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Effectively communicate with field operators, maintenance personnel, and other relevant stakeholders to coordinate activities and respond to operational needs
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with the Project and maintenance teams to implement upgrades and modifications to enhance plant performance.
- Prepare shift reports detailing key events, issues, and actions taken during the shift.
- Other assigned responsibilities.
