Description
Qualification and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 15 years experience in hydraulic maintenance within cement, mining, or heavy industry
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience with high-pressure systems and preventive maintenance practices
- Familiarity with CMMS and safety standards
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic systems and components.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic faults to minimize production downtime.
- Maintain and overhaul pumps, valves, cylinders, and hydraulic power units.
- Monitor system performance and conduct root cause analysis.
- Support installation and commissioning of new hydraulic equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support uninterrupted plant operations
- Provide training, development and leadership to plant maintenance personnel.
- Maintain and update operating and training manuals for the mechanical department.
