Job Summary

To stock materials received from vendors properly as to ensure easy access, identification, verification and handling.

Duties

Handle inbound stock and issuance of materials from the store and restocking of items accordingly
Receive and inspect inbound materials, reconcile with purchase order and check for quality, quantity and damages or discrepancies and report to the Stock Manager
Ensure that materials received are stored category-wise and stored in the appropriate locations.
Maintain receipts, accurate inventory records and records of issuance of goods from the stockroom
Ensure that the store is kept clean, organized and ensure that all materials are properly shelved and tagged to ensure they are easily located.
Prepare LPO when required.
Partake in periodic and annual stock count
Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
Perform any other functions requested by the Yard Stock Manager.
