Description
Qualifications
- Must be a holder of a diploma or degree in Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering; or must have held a Cabin Crew license or must have held a Flight Dispatcher license or must have held a Commercial Pilot License
- Must be conversant with Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority Requirement and organizational requirements and procedures
- Must have worked in a commercial or private airline for at least 3 years
- Must hold an Auditor qualification
Responsibilities
- Ensure communication and coordination with operational gLeads in the management of operational risks
- Implement the requirements of Civil Aviation Regulations and all associated airworthiness requirements in flight operations
- identified through audits conducted on the organization are corrected within the stipulated time
- Advising flight operations department on the best ways to fulfill the requirements of the Authority and industry best practice
- Communicate regularly with operational gLeads within the organization, subcontracted organization and suppliers on the requirements and implementation of the quality management system and safety management system desired goals
- Monitor flight operations organization’s compliance with Civil Aviation Regulations
- Implement Quality Audit Program to meet company goals and regulatory authority requirements
- Administer the program and establishing a follow up system for discrepancies observed during audit activities
- Collect and analyze operational flight data and reports to identify needed improvement in training, IOCC and crew performance
- Monitor dispatch, flight crew and cabin crew for currency of medicals, licenses, competency and simulator training currency
- Monitor flight & duty periods for flight dispatchers, flight crew and cabin crew to check to ensure crew operate within regulatory limits and manage fatigue risk
- Monitor flight operations sub-contractors and suppliers for performance in accordance with Green Africa standards
