  • The Fabricator will be responsible for constructing and assembling metal structures and components using various welding techniques and tools.   • The Fabricator will be responsible for constructing and assembling metal structures and components using various welding techniques and tools. This role involves interpreting engineering drawings, selecting appropriate materials, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the fabricated products. The Fabricator works closely with other members of the manufacturing team to meet production targets and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the requirements for fabricating metal components and structures.
  • Select and prepare appropriate materials, such as steel, aluminum, or other alloys, for fabrication according to project specifications.
  • Operate various fabrication equipment and machinery, including welding machines, cutting torches, grinders, and saws, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and shaping tasks to fabricate metal components and structures according to established standards and procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy and precision in measurements and alignment during the fabrication process to meet quality requirements.
  • Inspect finished products for defects, such as cracks, distortions, and incomplete welds, and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
