Fund / Reporting Accountant

Requirements

• Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
  
• Professional Qualification: Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA).
  
• Proven Track Record: 3–7 years of demonstrable experience specifically in fund accounting, asset management accounting, or specialized financial reporting.
  

• Technical Mastery: Strong command of accounting software and advanced Excel skillsfor data manipulation.
  
• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial services regulations and IFRSstandards.
  
• Precision: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when working undertight reporting cycles.
  

• Ledger Maintenance: Maintain meticulous accounting records for a variety of investmentfunds and complex portfolios.
  
• NAV Calculation: Execute precise Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, ensuring allincome, expenses, and asset price fluctuations are accurately captured.
  
• Valuation & Performance: Produce detailed portfolio valuation and performance reports totrack investment ROI and fund health.
  

• Statement Preparation: Draft periodic financial statements and comprehensive investorreports in accordance with relevant frameworks (IFRS/GAAP).
  
• Regulatory Filings: Prepare and submit mandatory reports for regulatory bodies and theboard of directors, ensuring 100% adherence to deadlines and compliance standards.
  
• Audit Support: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits,providing necessary documentation and clarifying fund positions.
  

• Asset Reconciliation: Perform rigorous reconciliations of fund holdings against custodianand broker statements to resolve discrepancies immediately.
  
• Financial Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls and documentation standards to mitigate risk and prevent errors.
