- Assist in recording and processing financial transactions related to manufacturing operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Support the tracking and analysis of manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, performing reconciliations, and conducting periodic physical inventory counts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for the manufacturing division.
- Aid in the preparation of manufacturing budgets and forecasts, providing data and analysis to support budgetary decisions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls related to manufacturing accounting processes.
- Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement within the manufacturing operations.
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as assigned by the Senior Manufacturing Accountant or Finance Manager.
