Operation Manager

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Microbiology, Bio-tech, or related fields
• 5+ years experience in food production and management
• Working knowledge of quality control and food safety standards( FSMS,HACCPe.t.c)
• Familarity with lean manufacturing principles
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpretations of skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsiblities

• Oversee manufacturing and production processes, ensuring employees comply with set policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and execute production schedules with employees within the production department, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
• Monitor inventory and factory equipment for smooth operations and reduced downtime
• Collaborate with procurement team and supplies to place orders, and keep prices low.
• Develop and implement plans to increase efficiency and productivity rates within the plant
• Supervise quality assurance processes from raw material intake to finished goods with proper storage to prevent spoilage. Take account of critical control points and critical control areas
• Prepare reports on the activities of the production department and ensure no rejects or rework. Investigate and resolve complaints for customers.
• Conduct regular evaluations to ensure employees are working and collaborating effectively
• Partcipate in company initiatives and raise problems or obstacles with senior management.
