  • Strong communication skills, ability to work with and influence multiple stakeholders.
  • Success in managing effective development, retention, and reward initiatives in one or more countries.
  • Experienced in managing employee relations cases in more than one country, with solid understanding of local labour law implications.
  • Fluent business English.
  • Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity, with an ability to prioritise topics that bring impact and value to the stakeholders and the People team within the region.
  • Results-oriented, collaborative, and with a sense of humour.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Ability to identify problems and present solutions within the context of a global organisation.

Description

  • We are looking for a Regional People Partner to our global People & Workplace team to enable and support our continued rapid growth and business expansion.Your role is to partner with onsite managers on people programs, provide strategic, tactical and operational HR expertise and support to create an excellent employee experience.
  • As a Regional People Partner you are responsible for implementing Bolt’s HR-agenda and initiatives locally, and when needed tailoring those to the country’s specific needs and conditions.
  • You are the internal voice and the ambassador for the Country & Regional perspective while at the same time being the bridge ensuring alignment between country/regions and HQ.

Main Tasks and Duties

  • Builds strong connections with stakeholders by offering HR guidance, coaching, and data analysis at regional and country levels (Nigeria, Ghana and Tunisia).
  • Contributes to various People Projects, including Bolt Performance Process, Compensation Review, and Engagement surveys, aligned with the Regional People Strategy.
  • Manages and implements various People Strategies through local leadership across the full People processes ensuring there is a standard level of support for leaders across all our regions.
  • Drives discussions and plans for improving employee engagement and experience within specific markets and countries.
  • Facilitates leadership coaching and team building to support regional growth in alignment with the Regional People Strategy.
  • Collaborates with the Regional People team to ensure high service delivery, well-being, and growth of employees.
  • Ensures consistency, educates managers, and ensures compliance on Bolt People Processes & Leadership topics.
  • Takes the lead on employee relations and ensures compliance with local labour laws as well as training managers on disciplinary and performance processes in the relevant country/countries.
  • Drafts and implements in-country policies aligned with best practices, local labour laws, and HR governance standards.
