Education:
  • Fluent in the language of the country with a basic command of English.
  • Minimum of 4-year Tertiary Qualification / Degree in Computer Science / Engineering / MIS / Maths or a related field or equivalent experience
  • MBA / Master's Degree is advantageous
  • Microsoft certifications are desirable: MS 102

Experience:

  • Amazing Salesperson: Exhibits outstanding operational excellence - including monthly/quarterly forecasting, building a healthy pipeline, CRM entry and hygiene, opportunity management, and virtual team orchestration.
  • 7 + years of experience in enterprise sales.
  • Hunter: Experience driving new sales and customers using innovative approaches, leveraging joint partnership events, social selling (LinkedIn), and networking.
  • Technical breadth: Enterprise customer-level experience with cloud, hybrid infrastructures, productivity and security technologies, and industry standards recommended.

  • The Senior Consultant – Microsoft Solutions will be responsible for Innovating and developing Microsoft solutions portfolio, aligned to priority industry sector and customer needs to deliver new revenue streams, working closely with KAM and B2B account and sales teams in Nigeria and potentially across MTN OpCo’s.
  • Conduct Microsoft market research to understand Microsoft needs across priority industries and clients.
  • Use priority target client’s needs as the catalyst to innovate solutions, partnering with the client where possible.
  • Develop Microsoft solutions including Microsoft 365, Azure, copilot, and other offerings as they become available sales pipeline to increase company’s market share in the offering area.
  • Manage internal and external customer relationships.
  • Promote, evangelise, and drive the establishment of MTN value proposition of Microsoft solutions Offering to senior prospective client stakeholders for existing and prospective (new logo) clients.
  • Provide the ability to cultivate trusted relationships with senior IT/Business leaders by demonstrating an understanding of key business challenges within customer markets and how Company technology-enabled business solutions can address those needs.
  • Ability to create compelling Visions using creative sales/solution strategies that make MTN unique in the eyes of the customer
  • Provide leadership and strategic guidance with pursuit teams during the solution development process to ensure alignment with overall Company sales and client business strategy.
  • Ensures the elements of the technical solution are not duplicated within multiple service delivery areas and cost models.
  • Provide oversight in the delivery and sale of the technical solution strategy and vision to senior client executives.
