The Accounting/Finance Intern supports the finance department in various
accounting functions, including financial reporting, analysis, and compliance. This rolerequires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a thoroughunderstanding of accounting principles and practices.
General Ledger Management:
▪ Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial records.
▪ Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
▪ Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
▪ Process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, expense
reports, and payments.
▪ Monitor accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and cash
application.Financial Compliance:Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
▪ Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls.
▪ Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and
explanations.
Financial Systems and Process Improvement:▪ Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline processes and enhanceefficiency.
▪ Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in systemimplementations or upgrades
