Requirements

• A minimum qualification of Masters in a relevant field

• Should have a Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery from a reputable University.

• Should have a good track record of service in educational and health institutions

• Demonstrated computer literacy

• Supervise undergraduate students undertaking research projects

• Conduct seminars and tutorials

• Carry out official administrative duties in the department as directed by the head of department

• Contribute to the university and wider society through community service

• Registration with Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners' Council



Job Application Procedure

Applicants are required to submit formal application letters accompanied by detailed CVs, certified copies of all relevant academic documents, and copies of their National Identification Cards or by email on [email protected] 

Applicants should indicate at least two names, telephone contacts and e-mail addresses of professional referees who can attest to their professional competences for the jobs applied for Applications should be submitted not later than 24 April 2024 at 5.00 pm.

• Administers and invigilates tests and examinations.

• Marks tests, course work and examinations scripts, compiles and grades examination results.

• Guides and advises students on their academic performance.

• Conducts research and disseminates research findings through conferences, seminars and publications.

• Supervises undergraduate and post graduate students undertaking research projects.

• Conducts seminars and tutorials.

• Carnes out official administrative duties in the department as directed by the Head of Department.

• Contributes to the University and wider society through community service.

• Prepares well-researched lectures and delivers them to undergraduate and post-graduate students.
