Qualifications and Work experience

• A Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering from recognized intuition.
  
• A diploma in Technical Teacher/ Instructor Education (DITTE/ DTTE) from recognized University / Institution or a diploma in Vocational Instructor Training (DVT) is a MUST for all applicants.
  
• Minimum teaching experience of two years in the areas/field.
  

1. Ensuring the good professional practice, standards, and quality of teaching and learning of subjects.
   
2. Ensure proper dialogue and discipline with the students and staff in the section.
   
3. Participate in curriculum development at the section.
   
4. Coordinating the teaching and learning of the subject/s for which one is responsible as per time table
   
5. Conduct class and practical lessons according to time table.
   
6. Setting standard examination & moderated papers, and continuous student assessments according to the approved curriculum.
   
7. Ensuring timely and adequate provision of textbooks, materials, and equipment in the section.
   
8. Ensure students records are regularly updated.
   
9. Preparation of schemes of work and lesson plans according to approved curriculum.
   
10. Ensuring that the maintenance and upkeep of machinery, equipment & tools related at section is regularly carried out.
    
11. Be a role model to both students and staff through time management, decent dressing and upholding the teachers’ code of conduct.
    
12. Attend and participate in sectional meetings.
    
13. Develop strategies and implement the training with production function.
