Sokoni Africa Limited is currently seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide variety of pastries and desserts. You will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and presentation of our pastry offerings.


Requirements

• Culinary degree in Pastry Arts or a related field

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role

• Extensive knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation

• Create and prepare a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods

• Develop new recipe ideas and innovative pastry concepts

• Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, and ensure timely orders

• Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency and adherence to standards

• Train and supervise pastry team members, providing guidance and support

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the pastry department

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of pastry operations
