Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Communications, Journalism, Political Science, or other) from a recognized university.
  • Experience working with international organizations or large national organizations will be a significant advantage.

Languages

  • Outstanding written and verbal skills in English.

Specific knowledge, skills, and competencies

  • Ability to take high-quality, professional photos in various settings, and basic photo editing is desirable, as is the ability to produce and edit video for social media use.
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, diplomatic, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proven ability to operate in a team environment, liaising with a diverse team.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the production and editing of key communications and branding materials to be utilized by the country office.
  • Support field- level collection of qualitative success stories aligned with the portfolio.
  • Capture photos/short‑form video; perform basic edits; manage a catalog with metadata (location, date, subjects, consent).
  • Assist in the drafting/editing of visibility materials (briefs, fact sheets, social copy) aligned to brand guidance
  • In coordination with the Travel and Logistics Associate and the Programmes team, assist in the coordination of logistics for programme activities, including supporting the preparation of event-related travel and payment requests, purchase requisitions, and other related documentation.
  • Assist in organizing events, workshops, and conferences, preparing event materials, supporting registration processes, preparing attendance lists, and supporting the development of activity reports.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date master file of program-related data, including programme records, technical publications, and other materials. Ensure these resources are easily accessible to management upon request.
