Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, International Relations, or any other related field from a recognized institution.
- Masters Degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, International Relations or any other related field.
- Professional training in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 4-5 years' relevant experience in communications, public relations, media, or corporate communications.
- Proven experience in content development, social media management, and digital communication platforms.
- Knowledge of communication approaches and practices within Private, Government institutions or international agencies.
Responsibilities
Draft high-quality reports, briefs, press releases, speeches, and talking points for internal and external audience.
Compile monthly, quarterly and annual communications reports
Provide strategic communication advice to management on corporate matters.
Prepare presentations and communication materials for high-level engagements.
Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the UNCST's image
Manage media relations, coordinate press briefings, and respond to media inquiries to safeguard the Council's image.
