  • Post-graduate Diploma in Managemen

  • Post-graduate Diploma in Administration.

  • Post-graduate Diploma in Health Services Management.

  • Under graduate Diploma in Pharmacy

  • At least six (6) years, three (3) of which should be at the level of Senior Dispenser.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Responsibilities

  • Post-graduate Diploma in Health Services Management.

  • Under graduate Diploma in Pharmacy

  • At least six (6) years, three (3) of which should be at the level of Senior Dispenser.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Plan, coordinate, budget, monitor and evaluate Dispensing services in the Hospital.
  • Prepare quality medicines.
  • Dispense medicines to patients according to prescriptions.
  • Advise Clinicians and other Health Professionals on prescriptions.
  • Advise patients and the community on proper use and storage of medicines.
  • Requisition for essential supplies.
  • Ensure safe disposal of pharmaceutical waste.
  • Ensure that equipment is functional and well maintained.
  • Initiate and ensure that research is carried out.
  • Impart knowledge and skills to students and staff.
  • Promote observance of the Professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics by staff under him/or her.
  • Manage and account for allocated resources.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Supervise and appraise subordinate staff.
