Description
Pharmacy Technician certificate, diploma in a health-related field, or relevant experience in a retail pharmacy setup.
Prior experience working in a community pharmacy or retail health setting is preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Excellent attention to detail with an ability to follow instructions accurately.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist in receiving, labeling, and organizing prescription medications and retail stock.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting patients warmly and handling point-of-sale cash register operations.
- Manage shelves and product displays, ensuring wellness products, cosmetics, and over-the-counter items are well-stocked, clean, and properly priced.
- Monitor product expiration dates and assist in regular inventory counts and restocking activities.
- Address basic customer inquiries regarding retail and beauty products, escalating clinical questions directly to the Pharmacist.
- Assist with digital/social media activities to promote the pharmacy’s wellness and retail offerings where required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pharmacy environment in compliance with health standards.
