Experience in material handling and warehouse operations.
Knowledge of material storage best practices.
Physical fitness to handle and move materials safely.
Strong attention to detail for accurate labeling and documentation.
Minimum of OND certificate.
Certification in offshore safety (BOSIET/OSP) is required
Responsibilities
Storage & Organization: Arrange materials systematically in designated areas according to bin location for efficient retrieval and space management.
Handling & Marshaling: Move materials safely within the warehouse or storage yard utilizing forklifts or manually.
Material Maintenance: Regularly dust, clean, and shine materials to maintain quality and prevent degradation. Execute basic preservation for spares and liaise with the Warehouse
Controller/Supervisor for confirmation.
Identification & Labeling: Ensure materials are correctly tagged, labeled, and marked for easy identification. Tag materials to indicate their shelf-life category.
Issuing & Dispatch Preparation: Retrieve materials for issuance based on requests, ensuring
proper documentation before release. Ensure confirmation of physical availability of Reservation as specified in the picklist and pick material from bin location. Label and package materials to ensure prompt delivery to customers daily.
Ensure end users sign the picklist, delivery note and manual register before delivery.
Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stored and issued materials in inventory management systems. Carry internal stock audit of materials in the Warehouse before external audit.
