Requirements
  • At least three (3) years of documented experience operating three-phase/60 Hz diesel engine-driven generators rated at a minimum of 1,000 kW and its associated equipment and systems.
  • Proven knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance, with a focus on diesel-driven generators and related power distribution systems.
  • Familiarity with applicable safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a power plant or industrial setting.
  • Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
    • Passport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.
  • Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance requirements for the duration of deployment.


Responsibilities
  • Supervising and overseeing the operation of three-phase/60 Hz diesel engine-driven generators rated at a minimum of 1,000 kW and its associated systems and equipment.
  • Monitoring power plant operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, operational protocols, and efficiency requirements.
  • Directing and assigning tasks to power plant personnel to meet operational and maintenance schedules.
  • Developing and implementing procedures to optimize power generation and efficiency while minimizing downtime.
  • Troubleshooting and addressing technical issues related to generator equipment and power distribution systems.
  • Preparing and maintaining documentation for operational activities, maintenance, and compliance audits.
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits of power plant equipment to ensure proper functionality and readiness.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, safety standards, and technical specifications.
  • Coordinating and communicating with upper management, project leaders, and team members to accomplish power generation goals.
