Description
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Environmental Studies, Business, or a related field

4–7 years of B2B marketing or communications experience, with a strong preference for candidates from environmental, sustainability, or green-tech sectors
- Demonstrated technical curiosity that is non-negotiable, with the ability to understand and translate complex sustainability and engineering concepts into clear, engaging narratives
- Proven expertise in writing successful technical proposals, bids, or grant applications involving scientific or engineering content
- Proficiency in social media management, content creation tools, and website content management systems
- Exceptional written English skills, capable of tailoring communication for diverse audiences including technical experts, government officials, and international donors
- Commercially minded with a results-driven approach and comfort working towards measurable marketing targets
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively across technical, operational, and leadership teams
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the client’s growth objectives and mission, owning the brand identity across digital, print, and in-person channels.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor positioning, and new business opportunities within the environmental technology sector, and track key performance indicators to measure marketing effectiveness.
- Create and manage high-quality, technically informed content including articles, case studies, white papers, newsletters, and social media posts that effectively communicate complex sustainability solutions.
- Oversee the client’s social media presence and website content, maintaining a professional, mission-aligned voice and optimizing for engagement and search visibility.
- Lead the preparation and production of client proposals, technical bids, and tender submissions, collaborating closely with engineering and project teams to ensure accuracy and commercial appeal; maintain an organized proposal library.
- Develop compelling pitch decks, capability statements, and presentation materials to support business development, partnership discussions, and investor relations; provide support to the CEO and senior leadership team as needed.
- Identify and apply for grants, green bonds, and impact investment opportunities by drafting persuasive funding applications and impact reports; build and maintain relationships with funding bodies.
- Represent the client at industry events, conferences, and networking forums, fostering strong client and partner relationships through polished and consistent communication.
- Support client relationship management and coordinate joint communications and co-marketing initiatives with partners, government agencies, and environmental consultants to enhance brand visibility and collaboration.
