  • Drafting and reviewing of litigation documents including pleadings,

  • Notices, affidavits and correspondences;

  • Drafting legal documents and generally handling all legal matters

  • Affecting the university in addition to advising the university on the same;

  • Attending court to represent the university in legal matters;

  • Researching on diverse range of assigned issues, documents and case

  • History to ensure accuracy of advice and procedures;

  • Conducting negotiations with a view of setting potentially litigious matters

  • In the best interest of the university;

  • Handling cases involving the university in liaison with external lawyers

  • On litigation matters and other contentious matters where applicable;

  • Ensuring safe custody of university's documents and suit papers and

  • Ensuring confidentiality and privacy of all legal data;

  • Participating in development and implementation of university policies

  • And regulations;

  • Being up to date on national requirements regarding the law and

  • Communicating issues on new statutory developments; and

  • Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
