SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Food Technology, Agribusiness, Supply Chain, or related field (postgraduate/pro certification is an advantage)
- 7–10 years’ experience in food retail, FMCG, wellness or nutrition-focused environments.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with strategic thinking and hands-on delivery

Responsibilities
- Lead the Foods category strategy end-to-end, driving sales growth, margin optimisation, promotions and portfolio expansion across retail and digital
- Own the activation calendar and in-store execution standards, partnering with Retail Ops to deliver consistently across branches
- Build strong team capability through product training for store teams and coaching Foods supervisors for performance and succession
- Improve stock health and reduce waste through lifecycle governance, forecasting inputs, rotation and markdown strategies for slow-moving and near-expiry items
- Protect customer trust by upholding food quality, compliance, supplier standards and traceability, while using trends and customer insights to guide innovation
