Description
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in interior finishes, construction materials, or architectural product sales
- Proven experience in client-facing sales within a showroom or construction-related environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working with sales targets and performance-driven roles
Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Sales
- Attend to walk-in and scheduled showroom clients
- Understand client needs, budgets, and design requirements
- Recommend suitable mouldings, wall finishes, and decorative architectural solutions
- Prepare quotations and actively drive sales to close transactions
- Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, interior designers, architects, and contractors
- Achieve showroom sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth
Product Advisory & Technical Support
- Interpret architectural and interior drawings to recommend appropriate products
- Advise clients on product selection, finishes, and installation considerations
- Assist clients in developing finish schedules and material selections
- Provide guidance on product combinations and design aesthetics
Documentation & Coordination
- Prepare quotations, specifications, and supporting documentation
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and project requirements
- Coordinate with the sales, QS, and stores teams for order processing and deliveries
- Follow up on quotations, revisions, and after-sales support
