Requirements
- Must be a born-again, mature Christian who conforms to the CITAM Statement of Faith.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in construction supervision, site inspection, or a similar role.
- Good understanding of construction methods, quality assurance processes, and construction documentation.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, environmental requirements, and relevant standards.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong analytical and report writing skills.
- Demonstrates integrity, diligence, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, contract documents, ISO requirements, and other applicable industry standards.
- Monitor workmanship, construction materials, and quality control procedures to ensure all works meet the required quality standards and project specifications.
- Identify defective, substandard, or non-compliant works and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Monitor project progress against approved work programmes, identify delays or deviations, and promptly report risks and key issues to the Projects Manager.
- Maintain accurate site records and daily diaries, including project progress, inspections, labour resources, plant and equipment, weather conditions, and other significant site activities.
- Attend site meetings, prepare technical reports, and coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants, contractors, architects, engineers, government authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements, environmental regulations, statutory obligations, permit conditions, and mandatory inspections throughout project execution.
- Verify measurements, completed works, and supporting documentation to facilitate accurate valuation and certification of interim and final contractor payments.
- Support project completion and handover by preparing snag lists, monitoring rectification works, and confirming readiness for practical completion.
- Ensure adherence to ISO and other recognized industry standards in project execution and management.
