Yusudi is supporting Unga Limited in hiring a Key Accounts Manager. He/She will support in delivery, implementation, and measurement of performance based on the aligned business Plans. He/She will be tasked to deliver volume and revenue growth within an allocated channel and to grow the customer base whilst managing key business accounts. He/ She will also ensure exceptional execution of sales through the Merchandizers.

He/ She will also ensure exceptional execution of sales through the Merchandizers.

  • You will build and develop collaborative relationships with the retail.

  • You will develop, review and Implement a Route plan for all the merchandizers within your channel.

  • You will ensure product availability and execution standards are well implemented.

  • You will drive Horizontal expansion through new outlet openings.

  • You will service Retail accounts' customer satisfaction and grow sales volumes, market share, and shelf space occupation, at 60% of available shelf space.

  • You will ensure the availability of the entire Unga Ltd product portfolio – brand and SKUs in all Retail accounts.

  • You will manage Sales orders, Sell-In, and Out address any gaps to ensure no out-of-stock in trade.

  •  You will drive sales volume and revenue growth per channel.

  •  You will negotiate and sign-off annual JBP’s with key customers.

  • You will execute marketing and promotional activities within agreed timelines and integrate sales assignments with organized marketing support activities e.g. new product launches, sales promotions, advertising, and supermarket competitions.

  • You will implement promotional and merchandising programs by working with Marketing Team and merchandising companies.

  • You will monitor and report on market intelligence with a view to evaluate company position in relation to competitor activities and recommend remedial measures to the management.

  • You will ensure effective and efficient management of company assets including company sales vehicles assigned to the sales team and any other unga assets placed within your designated sales territory to support Unga Business growth initiatives.

  • You will train the Retail Accounts Shelf Stockers on Unga Ltd products attributes, product handling, FIFO, merchandising standards, POS placement and management, product re-order levels and on QDVPP – rate of sales drives and their benefits to Unga Ltd and to the Retail Accounts branches.

Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or any related field.

  • You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Modern Trade Sales Management.

  • You have demonstrated experience in effectively managing a large team.

  • You have experience in the FMCG industry.

  • You are strong in customer management, entrepreneurial and commercial skills.

  • You have advanced Communication, Problem-solving, and analytical skills.
