Operations Team Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Team Manager to join our expanding team. This role requires a seasoned expert to lead and manage the development of high-quality video labeling & moderation tasks, which are instrumental in training state-of-the-art machine learning models. You will work directly with our clients and platform partners to oversee production processes, train annotation personnel, and ensure rigorous adherence to guidelines and quality standards. This position requires comprehensive expertise in data annotation methodologies, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of machine learning workflows.

A must have to be considered:

• A working personal laptop (Please note this will be verified while shortlisting)
  

• An internet connection of 15 MBPS and above

Our recruitment process is as below:

1. Screening and Shortlisting - Our recruitment team reviews applications to shortlist candidates who meet the basic qualifications.
   

2. Skill Test - Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a relevant skill assessment.
   

3. Interview - Successful candidates from the skill test will be invited for an interview with the hiring manager and possibly other team members.
   

4. Background Check - Final candidates will undergo a background check before receiving an offer.
   

• Lead a team of about 3-5 Operation Team Leads and indirectly overseeing around 70-100 data annotators
  

• Run day to day operations on rotational shifts with flexible working hours (Day & Night)
  

• Manage governance. Ensure Process adherence
  

• Mentoring and guidance
  

• Be able to achieve high program health by taking charge of the responsibilities end to end real time
  

• Meet/exceed the defined targets for the team (Productivity, Quality, SLA, Efficiency and Utilization)
  

• Tracking and reporting attendance and availability
  

• Updating process/operations report
  

• Identify process gaps & improvements
  

• Are able to manage multiple responsibilities along with Core duties
  

• Communicate effectively with peers and stakeholders
  

• Suggest improvements to tools or processes
  

• Work closely with analysts, program managers to do data deep dives, look for patterns, red flags w.r.t. operations
  

• Work closely with program managers to drive strategic objectives to cross/upskill the team, achieve quality & production targets, optimize/automate operational processes
  

Basic Skills and Qualifications:

• Graduate in any discipline and overall work experience
  

• 2+ years experience leading a team, directly managing others
  

• Good working knowledge of MS Office/Google Suite (Excel/Docs/ Spreadsheets/ Slides)
  

• Basic knowledge of data analysis and Root Cause Analysis
  

• Proficient in verbal and written communication in English
  

• Quick learner and able to guide and govern the team with minimal supervision
  

• Self-starter - you learn independently and stay motivated with limited direction
  

• Startup energy and hustle - you are comfortable quickly adapting as we build the project
  

• Team player
  

• You need to have your own computer and functioning internet
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous work experience in leading a team in BPOs, customer service or support environment.
  

• Have successfully worn multiple hats as a leader in leading a time size of ~30 members.
