Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire purchasing
function within the organization. The role involves strategic planning,
operational execution, and team management to ensure efficient and effective

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration,
supply chain management, or a related field.
Proficiency in using procurement
software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other relevant tools
Should be a
Certified Professional in Supply Management - CPSM or Certified Purchasing
Manager - CPM)
Member of KISM
5-7 yrs. experience in
procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a significant portion
of that experience in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of procurement
best practices, strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier
relationship management.
Excellent negotiation and
communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal
stakeholders.
Proficiency in using procurement
software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other relevant tools.
Ability to lead and develop a
high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work
environment.
Strong organizational and project
management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet
deadlines.
Knowledge of relevant laws,
regulations, and compliance requirements related to procurement and supply
chain management.

Develop
and implement procurement strategies by Creating and executing comprehensive
procurement strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
This includes analyzing market trends, identifying cost-saving opportunities,
and leveraging purchasing power to optimize procurement processes.·
Lead,
coach, and develop a team of purchasing/pricing professionals. Provide
guidance, set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure
the team's adherence to best practices, policies, and procedures.·
Establish
and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure
favorable terms and conditions. Continuously evaluate supplier performance,
conduct supplier audits, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
and service level agreements.·
Implement
strategic sourcing methodologies to identify and qualify new suppliers.
Conduct supplier evaluations, manage supplier databases, and make informed
decisions to enhance supplier diversity and reduce supply chain risks.·
Continuously
improve purchasing / pricing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs,
and streamline operations. Evaluate and implement procurement technologies,
such as e-procurement systems, to automate processes and improve data
accuracy and reporting capabilities.·
Develop
and manage the purchasing budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving
opportunities. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate financial
forecasting, budget allocation, and reporting.·
Oversee
the negotiation, development, and management of contracts, including terms
and conditions, pricing structures, and compliance requirements. Ensure
contracts are reviewed and renewed in a timely manner, and manage contract
performance and disputes.·
Identify
and mitigate procurement / pricing-related risks, such as supply chain
disruptions, quality issues, and compliance risks. Develop risk management
strategies, implement robust supplier qualification processes, and monitor
key risk indicators.·
Collaborate
with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and legal
departments, to understand their purchasing needs, align strategies, and
support project requirements. Foster strong relationships and effective
communication to ensure procurement / pricing objectives are met.·
Ensure
compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all
procurement/ pricing activities. Establish and enforce policies and
procedures to promote fair and ethical practices throughout the purchasing /pricing
process.
· Developing pricing strategies and models and
maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market. This
involves conducting market research, analyzing pricing trends and determining
optimal pricing structures of products.
· Data analysis and reporting tracking and analyzing
relevant data and sharing on a daily, weekly or monthly with the CEO and team
members.
· Cost management implementing cost controls
measure to optimize purchasing/ pricing activities. This includes analyzing
cost, identifying cost saving opportunities.
