The Moyo Children Center, which continues to be close to children who have lost their place, was founded in 1999 under the name "Moyo Home" and started its activities. At the time of its inauguration, it was an activity at a personal pace, but now it is possible to receive the support of many supporters and supporters centered on the "Meeting to Support the Moyo Children Center" established in 2004. Is active in a wide range of fields related to children. Although it is a small NGO, we will continue our activities in our own way while staying close to the children, hoping for the future of as many children as possible. I would be grateful if as many people as possible could support the activity. 


Job Overview

We are looking for a compassionate social worker to help serve the communities that we have a presence in by assisting children that are affected by issues such as neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, mental health, and parental substance abuse. Cases will be handled by phone or in person. You will be in charge of assessing children and gathering relevant information about their cases, providing crisis intervention, and contacting and making referrals to other agencies and services. A key to succeeding in this role is the ability to take care of needy children with a lot of love.

  • Taking care and guiding children in our institution



  • Assessing children and family and gathering relevant information.



  • Offering information and supporting children and their families.



  • Contacting other agencies and services.



  • Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.



  • Participating in training, supervision, and meetings.



Qualifications and Requirements;



  • Ability to take care of children as a like family member



  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field



  • Experience working with children that are affected by issues including neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, mental health, and parental substance abuse.



  • Ability to give full attention to what social service children are saying, understand the points being made, ask questions, and not interrupt inappropriately.



  • Awareness of others’ reactions and understanding why they react as they do.



  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.



  • Proficient in google sheet, google document, word, excel, outlook, and powerPoint.



  • Ability to stay calm and empathize with children when they are upset.



  • Valid driver's license.
