Qualification and Experience Required

  • Minimum of a First Degree in a related field, a Master’s Degree is an advantage Professional certifications/membership are an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience working in a generalist HR environment
  • Ability to maintain and handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training and development
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technology driven and excellent use of HR software and applicable applications, including MS or Google Products.

  • Assist in the design and support the implementation of company-wide processes of organizational development that address issues such as recruitment, workforce and development, employee retention, welfare, and compensation and benefits
  • Implement standard recruiting and hiring practices; ensure the recruitment of superior workforce across the Group within a specified time frame.
  • Support the implementation of a Performance Management System by carrying out periodic performance appraisals and employee development programs; give recommendations as required
  • Assist in the set-up of and implementation of an employee training system/program that addresses the training needs of all staff.
  • Update policies that will promote best practices and behavior among employees and enhance employee productivity; hear and resolve employee grievances: counsel employees and supervisors and ensure strict adherence to the company’s code of conduct.
  • Support in enforcing the company’s culture so that it supports the attainment of the company’s goals and promotes employee satisfaction; carry out periodic surveys to improve methods and stay up to date with information and best practices in Human Capital Management.
  • Maintain defined employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommend benefit programs to the department head; process the benefit programs.
  • Minimize risk and protect the interest of employees and the company in accordance with the company’s Human Capital Policies and government laws and regulations.
  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements for all positions to meet requirements and achieve the objective of the organization, and regularly update the competency framework
  • Maintain a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; schedule and conduct job evaluations; prepare pay budgets; monitor and schedule individual pay actions; implement pay structure revisions; monitor all pay practices for effectiveness and cost containment.
  • Maintain historical human capital records by designing a filing and retrieval system, and keeping past and current records.
  • Supervise all personnel and activities in the HC Department, and report back to the head of department.
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the head of the department.
