Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Officer

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Development, Data Science, Data Analytics, Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, Project Management, Computer Science).
Proven experience in designing and implementing MEAL systems in development or humanitarian projects.
Strong analytical and data management skills, with proficiency in relevant software tools.
Excellent communication and report writing skills.

Develop and manage a comprehensive MEAL framework to track program performance, outcomes, and impact.
Oversee data collection, analysis, and interpretation, using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on program progress, findings, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
Plan and conduct program evaluations, including baseline, mid-term, and end-line assessments, to measure the effectiveness and impact of interventions.
Establish and manage mechanisms for community and beneficiary feedback and ensure timely response to concerns and complaints.
Facilitate a culture of learning within the organization by documenting lessons learned and facilitating discussions to improve program strategies.
Train and mentor staff and partners on MEAL tools and techniques to enhance data quality and program effectiveness.
Ensure data quality through routine data audits and verification exercises.
Manage the MEAL budget efficiently and in compliance with organizational guidelines.
Ensure compliance with donor reporting requirements and timelines.
