The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting innovative research, delivering high-quality teaching, and contributing to the academic and intellectual life of the institution. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with students, collaborate with colleagues, and make meaningful contributions to the field of operations research, operations scheduling and related disciplines.
- Teach graduate courses in operations research, optimization techniques, stochastic processes, and related areas.
- Develop and deliver innovative and engaging course content that integrates theoretical concepts with practical applications in business and industry.
- Mentor and advice students on academic and career-related matters, providing guidance for research projects, internships, and professional development opportunities.
- Conduct cutting-edge research in operations research, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field through scholarly publications, conference presentations, and participation in research seminars.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Business School and across other departments or disciplines to foster interdisciplinary research initiatives and academic programs.
- Participate in academic governance activities, serving on departmental, school, and university committees as needed.
- Engage with industry partners and professional organizations to promote collaborative research projects, internships, and opportunities for student engagement.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the Business School’s curriculum, programs, and initiatives, incorporating emerging trends and best practices in operations research and related fields.
- Maintain active involvement in relevant professional associations and networks, representing the university and contributing to the broader scholarly community.
