Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver lectures to secondary school students.
  • Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers. Compile, administer, and grade examinations, or assign this work to others.
  • Prepare course materials such as syllabus, homework assignments, and handouts.
  • Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
  • Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
  • Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
  • Maintain regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students.
