As a Finance Apprentice at Dwona Initiative, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in financial management and accounting within the context of a dynamic non-profit organization. Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools is preferred.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.

• Commitment to the mission and values of Dwona Initiative, with a passion for gender equality and social justice.

• Assist in day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, expense tracking, and budget management.

• Support the preparation of financial reports, statements, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure compliance with donor requirements and grant agreements.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard organizational assets.
