Team leader and expert for the proposed ‘'Improving resilience of smallholder farms and competitiveness of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises in Northern Uganda” project.

The overall objective of the project is:

• To facilitate the strengthening of the technical and local capacities of smallholder farms and their organization to address yield gaps and adopt agroecological practices for climate smart farming and sustainable use of natural resources.

• To improve the competitiveness of 570 agro-based MSMEs through the supply of non-financial and financial services and promotion of inclusive market led models for green products.


Requirements

• University degree (Master or graduate diploma) in project management, business administration, Development Economics, International studies, or related field

• 10 years of professional experience in private sector development, climate change & mitigation, natural resource management, or job creation/green innovations

• 4 years of professional experience in MSME development, on green innovations, or Finance and Digitalisation

• 5 years of management experience in projects, companies, or other organisations with disciplinary leadership responsibility for at least 5 people

• 2 years of professional experience in a country outside East Africa

• 5 years of professional experience in Africa

• 3 years of experience in development cooperation projects
