We are a premium automotive workshop based in Nairobi, Kenya.

We are looking for a technician with strong diagnostic ability who can follow structured procedures and deliver high-quality work.

This role focuses on proper diagnosis, not guesswork or parts replacement.

  • 4–8 years experience
  • Strong diagnostic thinking (not just mechanical repairs)
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic tools
  • Dealership Experience
  • Good English communication
  • Willing to relocate to Nairobi

We are looking for technicians who:

  • Work with discipline and attention to detail

  • Does not take shortcuts

Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate fault diagnosis using scan tools, live data, and logical step-by-step processes

  • Interpret fault codes correctly and verify issues before replacing any components

  • Carry out electrical and mechanical diagnostics (including sensors, wiring, fuel, air, and control systems)

  • Read and apply wiring diagrams and repair information when diagnosing faults

  • Identify root cause of issues, not just symptoms

  • Follow structured job procedures and workshop checklists for all repairs

  • Conduct proper testing and verification after repairs to confirm faults are resolved

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and avoid shortcuts

  • Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean, organized, and properly stored

  • Document diagnostic findings and communicate clearly with supervisor

  • Escalate complex issues when necessary, with proper explanation of work already done

  • Ensure all removed parts are labeled and stored correctly during repairs

  • Adhere to workshop safety standards and correct use of tools and equipment
  • Keep work area neat and clean.
