Plan and design water supply and sewerage systems;
Carry out research in various aspects of water, sewerage, and hydraulics;
Participate in public participation forums on water and sewerage projects;
Write monthly reports on the status of water and sewerage projects;
Represent the department during stakeholder meetings as may be directed by the supervisor;
Write concept notes for proposed water and sewerage projects;
Carry out routine monitoring of water and sewerage projects and give technical advice to contractors;
Carry out projects’ inspection and do inspection reports;
Engage development partners in the area of jurisdiction;
Mentor staff through on-the-job training initiatives

Requirements & Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have:

A degree in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Registered by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer
Have a certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution
