Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring workforce readiness for oil & gas and environmental services operations.
Talent Acquisition & Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention of skilled professionals, including engineers, environmental consultants, and marine service staff.
Performance Management: Design and manage appraisal systems to drive productivity and accountability across technical and administrative teams.
Training & Development: Implement training programs on safety, compliance, pollution control, and leadership development.
Employee Relations: Maintain positive labor relations, manage grievances, and ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and union agreements.
Compensation & Benefits: Develop competitive salary structures and welfare programs tailored to oil & gas and environmental consultancy sectors.
Administrative Oversight: Supervise office administration, logistics, haulage support, and marine service coordination.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (DPR, NESREA, NIMASA, and other relevant agencies).
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Collaborate with HSE teams to embed safety culture across petroleum marketing, waste management, and marine operations.
Key Requirements
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred)
10 - 15 years experience in HR & Admin experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within Oil & Gas or related industries
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, HR best practices, and industry-specific compliance
Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams across petroleum, waste management, and marine services.
