You will be performing tasks related to chemical laboratory activities supporting service delivery operations such as conducting laboratory tests of products, samples and systems; collect, submit and explains test results; always apply company and industry standards and safety practices; maintain equipment, materials and work areas in working order; support incident investigations; communicate with internal customers about specific projects and requests, mentor junior peers.
As a Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for:onformance to specifications for all employees of Laboratory.
To be successful in this role you will:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, influencing and planning skills
Understanding of Laboratory testing, analytical characterizations and measurement techniques.
Knowledge of fluids used in the oil & gasindustry.
Proficiency in using Microsoft office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Good project management skills
Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team, delivering project presentations
Willing to travel domestically and internationally for training or product support, approximately 2-4 weeks per year.
Have sound working knowledge in all lab functions
Ability to build peer relationships as well as work independently
Be action-oriented, ethical in value, and have a strong customer focus
Ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues in all areas - capable of technical report writing.
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skill set executed against multidimensional challenges
Delivering project presentations
Working with minimum supervision, conferring with superior on unusual matters.
