Are you a data-driven accounting professional who excels at finding the "needle in the haystack"? We are seeking a Mid-Senior Risk Mitigation Accountant to serve as a strategic architect of our financial data.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience, moving beyond transactional tasks into deep financial analysis.

  • Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

  • Audit Expertise: Strong background in internal/external auditing and financial compliance is highly preferred.

  • Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Data Cleaning) is essential for handling large-scale datasets.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, high ethical standards, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Strategy & Integration: Lead the collection and reconciliation of disparate data from multiple carriers and vendors to evaluate plan performance and employee savings.

  • Strategic Reporting: Own the reporting cadence (Daily, Weekly, Monthly), transforming raw data into high-level insights regarding savings trends and financial anomalies.

  • Carrier-Facing Excellence: Prepare and present comprehensive monthly reports for carrier review, ensuring total consistency and data transparency.

  • Financial Modeling: Utilize advanced comparative analysis to identify specific instances of cost avoidance and translate complex findings into actionable executive summaries.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as the financial bridge between Benefit Operations, Sales, and Vendor Management to ensure strategic alignment.

  • Continuous Improvement: Architect and refine data collection processes to drive scalability and reporting accuracy
