Description
Qualifications
- Education/training: University degree (Master) in political science, social science, law, agriculture, rural development, agricultural economics, development studies or related discipline.
- Language: Cl-level language proficiency in English.
- General professional experience: 5 years of professional experience in sustainable agriculture, agricultural supply chains or sustainable food systems
- Specific professional experience: 5 years in digital governance, data governance or digital transformation
- Leadership/management experience: 3 years of management/leadership experience as project team leader or manager in a company
- Regional experience: 3 years of experience in projects in Latin America or Africa or Asia (at least two of the target regions) Development cooperation (DC) experience: 5 years of experience in DC projects Stakeholder experience: 3 years of direct engagement with smallholders or agricultural MSMES.
Key Roles
- Participate in a kick-off meeting with ABF and kick-off meetings with the MGF partners
- Overall responsibility for the advisory packages of the contractor (quality and deadlines)
- Coordinating and ensuring communication with GIZ, partners and others involved in the project, including quality insurance for reports and coaching plan.
- Personnel management, in particular identifying the need for short-term assignments within the available budget, as well as planning and steering assignments and supporting local and international short- term experts
- Regular reporting in accordance with deadlines Can optionally also be proposed as key expert and train and coach up to 3 MGF partners.
