Description
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) from a recognized institution.
Valid Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) practicing license.
Minimum of 3 years post-internship experience, including at least 2 years in a busy hospital setting.
Updated BLS certification and leadership/management training are an added advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in hospital information systems,
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient dispensing of medications for inpatients, outpatients, and pharmacy units.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise pharmacy staff to enhance performance and service delivery
- Ensure compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) regulations, COHSASA standards, and internal policies.
- Maintain high standards of patient cere, safety, and confidentiality.
- Manage stock levels, procurement processes, and inventory control to prevent stockouts and wastage.
